Act Biosecurity Amendment (Improving Operational Efficiency) People travelling to Australia by aircraft or vessel—including passengers, crew and the person in charge—must provide the biosecurity information and documents set by regulations. This includes information and documents about another person in their care on the journey, such as a child. The obligation applies even while the traveller is outside Australia. Travellers must correct anything that becomes inaccurate or incomplete, although regulations can create limited exceptions and allow someone else to respond for them.
